Pioneer Elementary was built in 1996 and serves approximately 900 students in developmental preschool through fourth grade. Pioneer's mission is to provide a positive atmosphere that facilitates continual growth through quality education where all students, parents, community, and staff work together to produce productive citizens. The caring, experienced staff provides a nurturing environment where instruction is modified to meet the needs of all learners. Students in kindergarten through third grade receive ninety minutes of high-quality reading instruction every day. Dual language classes are available for students in kindergarten through second grade. Parents are encouraged to be partners in their child's education. Booster club meetings are held once a month.
