Our Schools:
The Sunnyside School District serves a diverse, dedicated and talented group of 5,600 students from Kindergarten through the 12th grades. With seven schools, 365 teachers and a classified staff of 319, the district is rich with multi-cultural tradition. |

Our Students:
A large percentage of our students come from migrant families. Eighty-two percent of our students are Hispanic, 17 percent are Caucasian and other nationalities make up approximately one percent. More than 81 percent of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch. Our students are hard working and each one is encouraged to pursue a post-secondary education. |

We believe that relationships and individualized instruction make a difference in student achievement. Our classrooms have an average of 20 students per teacher. |
